The time I need to prepare an order for shipping varies. For details, see individual items.
I'll do my best to meet these shipping estimates, but can't guarantee them. Actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose.
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.
I ship most items via UPS ground. This takes anywhere from 1-5 days for your order to arrive after it's been marked as shipped. Exceptions to this would include items traveling to Alaska, Hawaii, and APO or PO Box address. In these cases your item will be sent via USPS priority mail. I cannot be held responsible for any shipping delays related to COVID-19 or severe weather.
Turnaround time is anywhere from 1-3 weeks depending on current order volume, and the nature of the individual item. All items are made to order and are processed in the order they were received.
Single states: usually between 1-2 weeks
2-states: usually between 2-3 weeks
Name signs: usually between 2-3 weeks
During checkout process it will tell you the delivery window. If you have a deadline you're working with that fits within that window, please let me know and I will try my best to accommodate your timeline within reason.
I offer gift-wrapping as an option at checkout for a small fee, as well as gift notes. All wrapped packages will come in neutral-toned kraft wrapping and white ribbon. If you pay for gift-wrapping and have written a gift message, it will come on a hand-written gift tag.
If your sign has not been created or shipped yet, send me a quick message via Etsy and I can change an incorrect address, or make a note of any misspellings or incorrect dates on the order.
Unless you have contacted me about a change of address, I always send the item to the address entered at checkout. If your sign has been shipped to the wrong address already due to an error, contact me. If it comes back to me as “return to sender,” I just charge a reship fee to get it to you at the correct address.
Likewise if you have entered a date or misspelled a name on your order and would like your sign to be fixed, I can fix it for you for a small reship fee upon receipt of the item (if the error is my fault - then I correct it at no cost)
I provide a rush fee option on a case by case basis. Payment of a $15 rush fee will bump you to the front of my line of orders, expediting the process.
If you’re interested in a rush fee payment, message me via Etsy and I will let you know if it’s possible or not. If it is, I will send you a private link to pay the fee.
Please use the Etsy messenger feature for all questions you may have. I check these regularly and try my best to respond to these as quickly as possible. You can click on any link you see on my page that says “contact seller” or “ask this seller a question”
I apologize but I cannot guarantee a response if you use my personal email address as junk filters are unpredictable, and messages sometimes go to spam folder.
I always return Etsy messages within one business day and try to respond immediately if I am able to!
Unfortunately due to the customized nature of my work, I don’t accept returns. However, if there’s a problem with your order please reach out and we can work on making it right.
Yes! If you have your own idea for a sign that is not listed in my shop, please contact me via an Etsy message so we can discuss! My acceptance of the project will depend on my availability and the goodness of fit for me. But I generally love the challenge of creating new custom design!
Yes. Proofs are available upon request. Just send me a message via Etsy and I can work on getting you a rough mock-up to ensure you’re getting what you want! This can be done either prior to or after ordering.
Any personalizations on your order, including string colors, states, names, dates, etc. can be left in the notes box during checkout. This is a text box you can type in before completing your order.
If you happen to forget or miss that box during checkout, you may send me a message via Etsy regarding your order and I am happy to connect the details to your order.
If I am ever unclear of the details for your order, I will reach out to you to clarify. The exception to this is when no string color is indicated, when in the item description I have indicated that the default string color is white.
